wave file players and converters

The  .tgz  file should be downloaded to your system and
compiled on your system. Extract with
    tar -xvzf  xxxx.tgz
then go to the created directory and follow instructions
in that directory. Typically:
       ./configure
       make
       make install

Some downloads just need  'make'  the other commands will not hurt.
