Release Notes

The following release notes apply to the Oracle Cryptographic Toolkit 2.0.3 release.

Functionality

The functions listed below have the following scopes for this release:

Sign

A digital signature uses the RSA algorithm, 512 bit keys, and is in Oracle proprietary format. See "OCISecuritySign".

Validate

The identity must exist in the Oracle Security Server for it to be validated. See "OCISecurityValidate".

Hash

MD5 is used for the hash. See "OCISecurityHash".

Wallets

Only the default wallet is supported; it is located on a file system. The wallet's location is defined with the oss.source_my_wallet SQLNET.ORA parameter. See "OCISecurityHash".

Note: The wallet must be created using the osslogin command line tool. Refer to Chapter 3, "Installing and Configuring the Oracle Security Server", in the Oracle Security ServerTM Guide.
